I was just surfing the net when I felt reading some blogs.....I went through some, where I found all you dear friends sharing your feelings and emotions...I also thought of writing one thereby sharing something with you.

Let me first introduce myself, My name is Sangeetha from Kerala. I am a volunteer working on behalf of ISKCON for their project called "FOOD FOR LIFE".

Friends, we all speak of love...write poems and what more there are people who sacrifice their life for love...but have you ever thought of the real meaning of love...Love means to give...to give and not to expect anything in return for what we have given...It is selfless...nowadays it is a fashion for everyone to have a girlfriend or a boyfriend, and they call it their love, I do not say that it is wrong but have you ever thought that there is something more in and around us that needs our attention.We spend hundreds of rupees in buying gifts or on parties.But friends before spending just think of all those unfortunate children in streets who roam about without proper food and clothing.You might feel that street children are thiefs in growing ... but friends before taking such decisions please think of their situation...They are left in open streets without a roof over their heads, without proper clothing and a stomachful food...afterall they are children...they too do have desire to have a good food, if not a good dress..atleast something to protect themselves from the cold weather...they too have desire to play and be happy...It was not their fault to be in streets...

Don't you all feel that it is our moral responsibility to help them ...I agree that we as an individual cannot do much to help their situation but I am sure that a little bit of our contribution will make much difference to their lives....You can spare a little bit of a RS 100 a month to feed 10 children.I am working with ISKCON ( International Society for Krishna Consciousness ), Kerala, Trivandrum ( INDIA ) where we feed street childrens and many poor people.We have also adopted a Government hospital and feed all the poor patients there.
